Looking for A Ski Condo?
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007Are you thinking of buying a second home in the mountains for a ski getaway? Condominiums make a great second home, as they are low maintenance, often have amenities vacationers are looking for, and come in a variety of sizes, locations, and price ranges.
If you like the Breckenridge area, you have a large number of ski condos to choose from. Whether you want a ski condo with an amazing view of the slopes or with ski trails, we will listen to your needs and provide you information on what you can get for your money. There are ski-in/ski-out units on the market starting at $225,000 for a studio located on the Four O’Clock Ski Run, and going up over $2,000,000 for large, new, 4 bedroom luxury units. Prices for Breckenridge condos which are not located at the ski hill start at $159,000 for a one bedroom, and $235,000 for a two bedroom, in the Boreas Pass area.
Another area that offers ski-in/ski-out locations is the Keystone Resort. Our Ski condos in Keystone Resort appeals to anyone looking for the typical “alpine” feel. At the newer River Run Base area has a number of condo units for sale, which are within walking distance to the gondola, and ski runs. Prices at River Run range from $275,000 for a large studio, to $2,250,000 for a four bedroom slope side unit. At the Mountain House Base area, two bedroom ski-in/ski-out condos start at $375,000. Keystone also has a number of nice condo complexes located a short bus ride away from the ski slopes. Most two bedroom condos in these complexes are priced between $300,000 to $400,000.
If you are looking for a more centrally located property, with driving access to a variety of ski area choices, the towns of Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthorne are good options. These towns have a variety of condo complexes, with units for sale in a wide price range. Some of these properties are located on the water, some next to National Forest, while others are walking distance to shops, and restaurants.
